“Like Catnip For Humans”
This would be the catch phrase for Savoy Sorbet, a wonderful little find that the Bunny clued me into at the Farmer’s Market in Coppell this past Saturday.
Savoy Sorbet makes it sorbets out of herbs, dried spices and flowers. Linn Madsen is the creator, and on Saturday, I enjoyed lavender sorbet. It was FANTASTIC. And their catch phrase “like catnip for humans” is VERY apt.
So, I took a card. And then I visited their website. And HAPPY DAYS, there is a store very near here that carries their product, so I may be going and nabbing some before my road trip. What does this mean? I don’t have to wait til Saturday to get some more!

Tee-hee, another addict. Welcome to the dark side. I am such a bad influence.
Are they the folks that do a vanilla lavender sorbet, is that that a different herbal sorbet maker… because really, there are so many
They have a lavender sorbet which is WONDERFUL (and the rose geranium one is really great, too) but as far as I know they don’t have a vanilla lavender one. According to their site, though, they haven’t been around for more than a couple of years. If you guys ever get to come to town I can take you up to the nutrition store so you can grab some if you want.
